Welcome to G.W. Trenholm! In 2021 I became the principal of G. W. Trenholm.  I have worked at this awesome school since 2001!  I have over 30 years experience in education. I've taught kindergarten, first and second grades. I served several years as an adjunct professor at the college level. I've served in the roles of reading interventionist, Literacy Specialist/Coach at G.W. Trenholm and as an assistant principal at Deshler High School.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, reading, working in my yard, cooking and tending to my animals. I have 4 married children and 4 near perfect grandchildren. I have a special dog, a sneaky cat, a wonkey donkey, 14 goats and 2 chickens. I am also a huge sports fan. I love watching the Deshler Tigers play any sport. I'm a fan of those other Tigers as well. 

I absolutely love my job and find it rewarding to build relationships with children and their families. I believe that all children can learn and, as an educator, it is our job to meet them where they are and move them forward. I look forward to partnering with you and your family and helping your child grow and achieve. Welcome to the GWT family!
