Mrs. Mollie Phillips

My name is Mollie Phillips. I am the librarian at GWT! I am married to Bart Phillips, and we have three boys; Paxton, Grady, and Hunter. Deshler, Tuscumbia city schools, has always held a special place in my heart. My dad and I are Deshler alumni, classes of 1968 and 2002. Since then, several nieces and nephews have graduated from Deshler High. Now, Grady and Hunter are Deshler tigers!

I received my undergraduate degree in early childhood from Athens State University in 2007. After teaching kindergarten for a few years, I furthered my education by obtaining a Master's in library media from the University of West Alabama. This will be my 8th year as the library media specialist! I love being in the library for many reasons, but one reason above all others is that I get to see every student from GWT.

I cannot wait to see everyone in the library!
